Online shopping is the most common route for pickleball gear in the Philippines right now, since dedicated brick-and-mortar pickleball shops are still rare outside Metro Manila. Here’s how to shop smart.
Where to look
Lazada and Shopee are the two biggest general marketplaces and both carry pickleball paddles, balls, and bags from a mix of international brands and local resellers, including sellers specializing specifically in pickleball. Decathlon Philippines also sells entry-level racquet-sport gear through its own online store.
Check the specs, not just the photo
Confirm the paddle’s weight, core thickness, and grip size in the listing description — product photos across sellers can look nearly identical while the actual specs differ a lot. See our paddle-for-power guide for what those specs mean in practice.
Read the seller’s return policy before you order
Paddle feel is personal — weight and grip that suit one player can feel completely wrong to another. A seller with a real return or exchange window matters more here than it does for most other gear.
Try before you commit
If you’re not sure what weight or shape you’ll like, that’s exactly what a rental session is for. Book the Court + 4 Paddles bundle at Pickle Pals, test a couple of paddle types in a real game, and order online afterward with an actual preference instead of a guess.
None of this needs to be perfect on your first order — most players end up adjusting their paddle choice once or twice anyway. Play first if you can, then shop with more confidence.
