This policy explains what information Pickle Pals collects when you book a court or subscribe to updates, and what we do with it. We keep this simple on purpose — this is a single-court booking site, not a platform that tracks you across the web or sells your data.
When you book a session: your name, email address, and phone number, the service and time you selected, and a photo you upload as proof of your InstaPay deposit payment.
When you subscribe to updates: just your email address.
When you browse the site: standard analytics data via Google Analytics (page views, general location by IP, device type) — see “Analytics” below.
Booking details are used to hold your slot, send you a confirmation email, verify your deposit payment, and contact you if there's an issue with your reservation. Newsletter emails are used only to send you updates about open-court nights, events, and promos — you can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Pickle Pals does not process card payments and never sees your bank or InstaPay login details. You pay your deposit directly via InstaPay and upload a screenshot of that transfer as proof — this photo is stored securely and used only to manually verify your deposit against your booking.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) on the public-facing pages of this site to understand how visitors use it — never on the admin dashboard or login pages. Google Analytics may set cookies on your browser for this purpose. You can opt out using your browser's cookie settings or a browser extension such as Google's Analytics Opt-out add-on.
We share data only with the service providers that make this site work: our hosting provider (Vercel), our database provider (Neon), and our email delivery provider (used to send booking confirmations and reminders). Each of these processes data only on our behalf, to run this site — none of them are permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of our staff, players, or property.
Booking and newsletter records are kept for as long as needed to run the business — for example, to look up a past booking or honor a cancellation request. If you'd like your data deleted, contact us and we'll action it, subject to any records we're required to keep for accounting purposes.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to unsubscribe from newsletter emails, at any time — see “Contact us” below.
If we change how we collect or use your information, we'll update this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
